Salem montessori school

Our vision at Salem Montessori School is that our students, families and staff feel a sense of belonging when they walk inside. We want to foster a learning environment that is equipped with diversity and inclusion while providing a hands-on experience that is accommodating to all types of kids. Our expectation of the learning experience at SMS is that it is fulfilling and rewarding in academic education as well as social-emotional learning and relationship building. We strive to provide a well-rounded preschool experience for everyone.

The Montessori Method was created by Maria Montessori in 1907. It is designed to allow children to learn at their own pace through a multitude of experiences. This hands-on, play-based approach is beneficial for children to develop balance in their social, intellectual, emotional, physical and mental capabilities.
